The Rhiw Project
Inspired by the Manning Wardle 2-6-2’s of the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway The Rhiw Valley Light Railway have started a project to build a 15” Gauge Manning Wardle 2-6-2. To be named “Rhiw”, in the best traditions of the L&BR, after the river which flows through our valley. The design of the loco is well underway and we will post photos of the loco build as it progresses.
